Exosomes are small structures within all cells that serve as messengers, or a delivery system, to receptors in distinct parts of the body where they release their contents to elicit a desired response.
In aesthetics, exosomes can penetrate all layers of skin, transferring their contents to targeted cells to promote tissue repair and regeneration, enhanced healing, and reduced inflammation. It is important to note that virtually all skin issues are issues of inflammation: pigment issues, vascular issues, rosacea, melasma, acne, eczema, rashes, etc.
Using exosomes in conjunction with aesthetics procedures suppresses undesired inflammatory responses (i.e., excite melanocytes to manifest on skin’s surface as with melasma), greatly reduces healing time, and visibly and measurably enhances results.
